Tomorrow 14th of February is Valentine’s Day. Originally it was a western Christian Liturgical feast day honoring Saint Valentinus. It was during 14th century that the day first became associated with Love.

 

As you know, here at the library we like to amuse ourselves with information retrieval and in honor of Valentine´s Day we thought of doing a search for the word Heart. Here are some books related to Heart. The word heart can have different meaning and can be found in all kind of categories.

This book is a guide for organization who wants to make a change in their structure and operations and who need to understand that they first have to change people’s behavior.

Heart of Darkness/ Conrad Joseph

This novel is a complex meditation on colonialism, evil, and the thin line between civilization and barbarity. Its also a classic novel which been read and interpreted in literature science for decades.

This book looks at the many facets of the librarian occupation. It covers everything from statistics, enumerates gender divisions, personality types, salaries to requirements of various types of librarians including public, academic, school and special librarians.
